Associate - Corporate Litigation at Astrea

Our ideal candidate is:

• A Belgian-qualified lawyer with a Master’s degree in Law, preferably with a focus on corporate law.
• Experienced in Corporate Litigation with at least 3 years of solid experience in the field.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, with excellent communication skills.
• Client-focused, accurate, and skilled at providing in-depth analysis and practical legal solutions.
• A true team player with strong interpersonal skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to work independently.

As an Associate in Astrea’s Corporate Litigation Team, you will tackle complex legal challenges for large and medium-sized Belgian and international companies. Working within a growing team of corporate litigation specialists, you will have direct client contact and play a key role in resolving disputes.

Astrea’s Corporate Litigation team focuses on advising clients in high-stakes corporate law matters, delivering tailored strategies and results-driven solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting clients during pre-litigation and litigation phases.
• Drafting responses to claims, assessing potential liability, advising on mitigating actions, and developing effective legal strategies.
• Preparing pleadings, summons, conclusions, and arguments, supported by thorough documentation.
• Analyzing client needs, identifying practical solutions, and providing strategic guidance.
• Representing Astrea at events, contributing to newsletters, and participating in external client seminars.
• Keeping your legal expertise up to date through active involvement in professional groups, training programs, and seminars.
